A very merry Christmas to you

After weeks of preparations, all the holiday festivities are leading up to this moment: Christmas Day.

If you’re reading this the day it prints, there’s still a few more “sleeps” between now and Dec. 25, but please allow us to wish you and yours a very merry Christmas.

We hope you have had the opportunity to enjoy some of the holiday fun in Franklin County, whether you attended a community Christmas parade, watched a school Christmas program, visited a local light display or – well, the list of merriment goes on.

We’ve certainly enjoyed sharing stories and photographs from as many events as possible and hope you’ve at least gotten the chance to see our coverage of the events you haven’t been able to attend yourself.

To our readers, subscribers, social media followers, advertisers – to everyone who supports or enjoys the Franklin County Times in any way – we wish you a joyous weekend indeed celebrating the holiday. May you be warm, may you be safe, may you be filled with good cheer and surrounded by loved ones.

Although life can be hectic and filled with unexpected challenges, we have much to celebrate and be thankful for this year. We hope your holiday will be merry and bright.
