Margaret Ann Barnes Herring, age 84, of Russellville, passed away May 4. 

Ann was a Christian and a member of Eastside Baptist Church. She was a lifelong resident of Franklin County.

She is survived by her children, Van Herring (Pam), Richard Herring (Michelle); grandchildren, Nate Herring (Brooke), Tanner Herring (Kayla), Casey Herring (Lauren), Amanda Herring Butler (Hunter); great-grandsons, Cason, Carter, Draton, Sadler, Daxton & Cowen Herring; great-granddaughter, Jasper Butler; sister-in-law, Carolyn Epperson (Jody); brother-in-law, Harold Herring, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends whom will miss her dearly.

Ann was preceded in death by her loving husband, Donald Wayne Herring; son, Jimmy Don Herring; parents, Zollie and Velma Barnes.

Visitation will be held at Pinkard Funeral Home of Russellville, on Sunday, May 7, from 12:00-2:00 p.m., with the funeral service following at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel. Interment will be at Knights of Pythias in Russellville.

The family would like to thank Hospice of North Alabama for their excellent care of our Mom during her sickness. A special thanks to Greta Boutwell and Tiona Estavan, for always being just a phone call away and loving all of us like family.
