East Franklin Junior High recently held its athletic banquet, honoring the following:

Girls basketball awards – Layla Baker – Most Valuable Player, Most Steals, Top Defensive Rebounder, Best Free Throw Percentage with 61%; Bailey Jewell – Best Defensive Player, Best Field Goal Percentage with 46%; Kylee Santiago – Top Offensive Rebounder; Emily Walker – Scholar Athlete; Chaley Bullington – Team Captain, three-year county champ; Madison Baker – one00% Award; Rosie Barrientos – Best Attitude; Paige Denton – Most Improved Player.

Cheerleader awards – Saba Nix – two-year award; Daylee Trapp – three-year award, Captain Award, Scholar Athlete; Bailey Jewell – one year award; Madalyn Hubbard – one year award; Layla Baker – two-year award; Dara Cummings – two Year award; Sadie Champion – three-year award, Captain award; Addy Rogers – two-year award.

Boys B-team basketball awards – Brayden Garrison – Best Field Goal Percentage with fifty percent; Tiffin Bullington – Most Assists; Eli Baker – Scholar Athlete; Miles Duboise – Most Valuable Player, Top Rebounder, Best Free Throw Percentage with 67 percent, Most Steals.

Boys A-team basketball awards – Kye Baker – Most Steals, Most Assists; Isaac Duboise – Scholar Athlete, Team Captain, Top Scorer; Braxton Downey – Best Field Goal Percentage with 37 percent; Jeremiah Smith – Best Free Throw Percentage, Top Rebounder:  Melvin Gutierrez – 100 percent award.

Baseball Awards – Isaac Duboise – Scholar Athlete, Co-Most Valuable Offensive Player, Most Valuable Pitcher; Eli Baker – Most Improved Hitter; Kye Baker – Rebel Award; Miles Duboise – Co-Most Valuable Offensive Player, Golden Glove Award; Braylin Hallman – Most Improved Player; Melvin Gutierrez – Hustle Award
