Jonathan Willis

Jonathan Willis is a 1998 graduate of Russellville High School and a 2002 graduate of the University of Alabama where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Information Sciences. He majored in journalism and received a minor in history. Jonathan joined the FCT in January 2003, shortly after graduating from college. He worked in advertising sales until May 2004 before being named a staff writer. He served in that capacity until May 2005. Following a two and a half year stint with an area daily newspaper, Jonathan re-joined the Times staff in January 2008. He was named publisher in June of that year. He is a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Rotary International, Gideons International, the Franklin County Cattlemen's Association and serves on the Franklin County Chamber of Commerce board of directors. He is married to Mandi Malone Willis, of Russellville. The couple has two sons, Ty, who was born on March 26, 2007, and Cade, who was born May 28, 2010.
