Thanks to Eddie Britton for a job well done at Belgreen

By Staff
After 32 years as an educator, Belgreen School's principal announced that he will retire from Alabama to take another position in Mississippi.
Eddie Britton's retirement will take affect July 1 but his absence will be felt for years to come. It was almost like a fairy tale: An alumni returns to his school and rises to become principal.
Britton said that God lead him to take the new position, so you can't fault him for following his heart and where he feels like God has led him.
Britton has spent his entire career as an educator in the Franklin County School System, so he's headed into unfamiliar territory.
However, we are sure that his leadership skills will shine through in Mississippi just as they have in Belgreen.
Mr. Britton has been a part of many great things in his 25-years at Belgreen and for this we thank him. He's made a big difference in the school, and it was all for the better.
