Carrie and Lynn Latham of Meridian, and Bill Hodges of Jackson announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy Carol Hodges, to Dennis Glenn McDill, son of Barbara and Glenn McDill of Carthage.
The wedding will be Saturday, Nov. 8, 2003, at 6 p.m. at Jones Memorial Presbyterian Church.
Miss Hodges is the granddaughter of Carolyn Jones of Meridian and the late Jack Jones, and Edward Hodges of Meridian and the late Patsy Hodges.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Newton County Academy and a received an associate's degree in radiologic technology from Meridian Community College.
While attending MCC, she was a member of HOSA, MSRT and graduated with honors.
Miss Hodges is employed by Riley Hospital as a x-ray technologist.
Mr. McDill is the grandson of the late Ruth and Glover Ellis of Maden, Aline McDill of Conehatta and the late Preston McDill.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Leake Academy and received an associate's degree from East Central Community College.
While attending ECCC, he was a member of the baseball team, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Beta Club and an Academic All-American Athlete. At MCC, he was a member of HOSA, MSRT, graduated with highest honors and was an outstanding radiology student.
Mr. McDill is employed by Riley Hospital as a staff interventional technologist.
A reception will be held at the Jaycee's Building following the ceremony.
Family and friends are invited to attend.
