As Red Bay gets ready to blow out the candles on it's 100th birthday cake, they've extended an invite to you to join them.
The Founder's Fest and Centennial committees have done all they can to put the word out across north Alabama, southern Tennessee and northeast Mississippi.
For most of us, a centennial celebration is something we'll experience only once in our lifetime. Why not experience it with your friends and neighbors?
Founder's Fest will kick off at Bay Tree Park at 9 a.m. Saturday.
In the Olde Town Village you'll find entertainment and refreshments. Take a "walk down Memory Lane" – have a Rob Orrick hamburger or dine at A.M. Nix Barbeque and top it off with a cool snow cone from the Old Ice Plant or lemonade from the Old Town Well.
The 100th birthday celebration will culminate with 6 p.m. entertainment that will be provided by Joseph Baldwin, Bittersweet and Georgette Jones.
There will also be a Red Bay Mini-Movie, birthday cake and fireworks.
We hope to see you there.
