Patricia Ann Hamilton DeFoor, 57, Russellville, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 20, 2014 at her home surrounded by her family.

Patricia was a member of Russellville Church of Christ and was a devoted Christian, and set such a good Christian example for her family and friends. She was a Kindergarten teacher with the RussellvilleSchool system for twenty-five years.  She was an excellent teacher and impacted so many lives. This is the way she felt about teaching, “I love teaching and I love looking into the eyes of those who have discovered the thrill of learning or seeing something for the first time.”  She was kind and loving to everyone she met and will be missed by all.

The visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday, Sept. 22, 2014 at Spry Memorial Chapel.  The funeral will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at Spry Memorial Chapel.   Bro. Jonathan Caldwell will officiate at the service.  Burial will be at FranklinMemoryGardens.

She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Jimmy DeFoor; children, Kristal DeFoor Enchiff and husband, Brent, Josh DeFoor and wife, Lauren, Lori DeFoor Parrish and husband, Chris; grandchildren, Laney Enchiff, Parker Enchiff, Bristol Parrish, Bronson Parrish; six nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Odis Hamilton; mother, Lola Aycock Hamilton; and sister, Linda Hamilton Looney.

The pallbearers will be her Brent Enchiff, Chris Parrish, David Herring, Tommy Freeman, Jerry Aycock, and Tuck Martin.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Forero and his staff for the love and care given to our wife and mother.  She courageously fought a four year battle with cancer.
