RHS alum completes Graduate School of Banking

First Metro Bank is pleased to announce the graduation of Kyle DeFoor from the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado.

This 25-month program prepares bank-industry professionals to take on significant roles within their organizations. Students are required to complete six research projects, on-campus coursework, multiple exams and a bank management simulation. During his time in school, DeFoor served on a team that received the distinction of being named the highest performing bank by the Graduate School of Banking Management Simulation Faculty. This reflects strong performance, teamwork and excellent presentation of the simulated bank’s strategies and performance.

While working full time at First Metro Bank, DeFoor completed his MBA at the University of North Alabama, earned his Juris Doctorate from the Birmingham School of Law and has now completed the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado. He currently serves as vice president and branch manager of the Tuscumbia office.

“Kyle has been an integral part of First Metro Bank since his employment in 2000. His dedication to the community he serves is apparent in all he does. We are proud to congratulate him on his most recent accomplishment of graduating from the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado,” said Tommy Darby, executive vice president and chief lending officer.
