KNOP, SPRABERY
Cynthia Sprabery and Aaron Knop, both of Birmingham, Ala., were married Monday, Dec. 18, 2000, at Chapel at the Park, with the Rev. Rick Brown officiating.
Parents of the couple are Dr. Carol Sprabery of Miami, Okla., and Dr. Pat Sprabery of Meridian; Kay Knop of Enterprise, Ala., and Glenn Knop of Hartford, Ala.
Grandparents of the bride are the late Mr. and Mrs. Archie Sprabery; Dorothy Forister and the late Tom Forister.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Erma Levinson and the late Marcus Levinson; Jeanette Knop and the late Charles Knop.
The bride was given in marriage by her brother, Dr. Scott Sprabery. She wore a sleeveless satin A-line dress with a short train. The open back was complemented with satin-covered buttons.
Matron of honor was Vanessa Champigney of Birmingham. David Crawford of Austin, Texas, was best man.
A reception was held at Burning Bush following the ceremony.
After a honeymoon in Gatlinburg, Tenn., the couple resides in Birmingham, where the bride is employed at Axcan Scandipharm Inc. and the bridegroom is a dental student at the University of Alabama in Birmingham.
HILL, MIXON
Audrey Media' Mixon and William Shane Hill, both of Enterprise, were married Friday, Dec. 15, 2000, at In Christ Tabernacle, with the Rev. Billie Tolbird officiating.
Parents of the couple are John and Susan Hill and Mildred and Raymond Gryner, all of Meridian.
Grandparents of the bride are Fred and Claudia Kennedy of Stonewall.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Paul and Mary Hill Jackson.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a white organza gown accented with Chantilly lace and pearl iridescent sequins. The gown was enhanced with long straight sleeves, which were puffed at the shoulders. A chapel-length train fell from the waistline.
Matron of honor was Mildred Gryner of Meridian. John Hill of Meridian served as best man and Braxton Hunter Hill of Enterprise was ring bearer.
A reception was held at the church following the ceremony. Assisting were Willie Rue Hill, J.B. Mixon, Latisha Minchew and Billie Gail Gryner.
The couple resides in Enterprise.
