Retired nurse from Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center
Services for Bettye Carr Edwards will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at Latimer Metropolitan Funeral Home with the Rev. Denny White officiating. Burial will be in Forrest Lawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Edwards, 71, of New Orleans, died Monday, Jan. 22, 2001, at Lakeland Hospital in New Orleans.
Survivors include her husband, Richmond Edwards of New Orleans; four daughters, Bettye Jean White and Carol Sims, both of Meridian, and Barbara White and Katherine White Smith, both of New Orleans; three sons, Robert L. White of Meridian, James White and his wife, Diane, of Anderson, Ind. and Richard Carr of New Orleans; a sister, Pearlie Manuel of Meridian; 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be today from 2-7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

YORK, Ala. Services for John Glynn Keys II will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at York United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. Larry Teasley officiating. Burial will be in York Cemetery with Bumpers Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Keys, 43, of Jacksonville, Fla., died Monday, Jan. 22, 2001, in Jacksonville.
Survivors include his mother, Sadie Keys of Meridian; and four sisters, Roseann Dubberly, Kristol Rosenthal, Camille Cannon, all of Jacksonville Beach, Fla. and Terri Nowlin of Texas.
Visitation will be today from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Arrangements were incomplete at Enterprise Funeral Home for Lucille Tyler, 85, of Meridian, who died Monday, Jan. 22, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
