Thomas Edwin Douglas

Thomas Edwin Douglas, 74, Russellville, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2016 at Helen Keller Hospital.

He was born in Blossburgmand has spent the last 23 years as a resident of Russellville. He was a retired employ of National Security, a member and adult Sunday school teacher of Praise Tabernacle Church. He loved hunting, fishing and riding his motorcycle. He adored his children, grandchildren and especially his seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held Sunday, Jan. 24, 2016. Service were held at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel, with Bobby Stancil officiating. A graveside service was held in Bessemer, at Highland Memorial Garden, with Bobby Stancil officiating.

Survivors include; wife, Stella Jean Douglas, children, Michelle Douglas Berry and husband, Dan, Fla.; Jennifer Dison Hallmark and husband, Danny, Ala.; Jesse Lee Dison III, and wife, Rita, Alaska; grandchildren, Pamela Montgomery, and husband, Brad, Miss.; Angie Blakeney and husband, Robert, Miss.; Mandy Borden and husband, Tim, Ala.; Jonathan Hallmark, Ala.; Jeffrey Dison and wife, Lura, Alaska; Jessica Dison, Alaska. Great-Grandchildren: TJ, Seth, Tyler, Ava, Taylor, Sadie and Harper. Brother and Sisters: Diane London and husband, Greg, S.C.; John Brown, Ala.; Debbie McCrary, Ala. and nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by; Grandparents, Bertie and Ruth Glover, Ala.; Parents, Audrey and Frances Creel, Ala.; Erskine Brown, Ala.; Granddaughter, Brandee Baird, Miss.
