Eloise Parker

Eloise Parker, 75, passed away Feb. 11 at Red Bay Hospital. She was born in Belmont, Miss., to Den Payne and Gertrude Graves Payne. She was a homemaker and a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church, Vina.

Services were Feb. 13 at 2 p.m. at Ebenezer Baptist Church with Bro. Matthew Haney officiating. Burial was in Ebenezer Cemetery, Vina.

Survivors are her husband of 55 years, Elbert Parker, Vina; four children – Reda Hall, Belmont, Miss., Greg Sparks, Hodges, Sherry Parker, Pulaski, Tenn., and Jeff Parker and wife Susan, Red Bay; six grandchildren – Charla Lucas, Austin Sparks, Lacey Hall, Lauren Sparks and husband Byron, Alyssa Parker and Alex Parker; one great-grandson – Cooper Sparks; two brothers – Bob Payne and wife Mary and Billy Joe Payne and wife Doris, all of Belmont, Miss.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and six sisters.

Pallbearers were Ronald Gene Scott, Don Hall, Ricky Credille, Randy Credille, Brandon Sparks and Austin Sparks.

Visitation was held Feb. 12 from 6-9 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, and she was laid in state Feb. 13 from 1-2 p.m. at the church.
