UNA announces scholarships for RHS students
Kylynn-Grace Kensington Channell and Hannah Kathryn Keller, of Russellville High School, have both been awarded scholarships by the University of North Alabama.
Channell has been awarded a Band Performance Award. Keller has been awarded an Academic Scholarship.
Channell received the following honors while at Russellville High School: National Honor Society; class rank, 7/168; 4.125 grade point average; Mu Alpha Theta Honors History Club; and overall A average.
Her student involvement at Russellville High School included Russellville Marching 100 Drum Captain 2013-2016; Show Choir Alto Section Leader 2014-2016; SADD; Art Club; Spanish Club; Chemistry Club; and Media Book Lover’s Club.
An incoming freshman at UNA, Channell is the daughter of Kara and Calvin Channell.
Keller received the following honors while at Russellville High School: ranked Top 10 of 2016 Class; National Honors Society; and Mu Alpha Theta National Honor Society.
Her student involvement at Russellville High School included National Honor Society; Chamber of Commerce Junior Leadership; Homecoming Court; Talent Search; Annual Staff; Newspaper Staff; Mu Alpha Theta National Honor Society; Peer Counselor/Helper; Spanish Club; Students Against Destructive Decisions; Chemistry Club; Christian Students United; Future Business Leaders of America; Family Career and Community Leaders of America; Future Farmers of America; Health Occupation Students of America; Key Club (secretary); and Library Media/Book Lovers Club.
An incoming freshman at UNA, Keller is the daughter of Jill Keller.
