Essie V. Ayers Cleveland

Essie V. Ayers Cleveland, age 90, of Russellville, passed away Jan. 1 at her residence.
Mrs. Cleveland was a Christian mother and grandmother who loved her family and everyone around her.
The visitation will be will be 12:30-2 p.m. Jan. 4 at Spry Memorial Chapel, with the funeral following at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Bro. Nick McSpadden and Bro. Justus Cole will be officiating. Burial will be at Old Line Cemetery in Hodges.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, George Anderson Ayers and James L. Cleveland; her father and mother, Arthur and Lular Scott; brothers, Bill Scott, R.J. Scott, Harvey Scott, James L. Scott and John L. Scott; sisters, Ola Ayers, Dora Jones Bratto and Effie Grissom; and son-in-law, B.J. Tidwell.
She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Rickey Ayers and wife Pamela; daughter, Paulette Tidwell; sister, Lillie Mae Brewer; granddaughter and caregiver, Amanda Tidwell; granddaughter, April Estis and husband Andy; granddaughter, Jackie Evans and husband Bill; grandson, Jared Ayers; honorary grandson and caregiver, Abram Tidwell; great-grandchildren, Hunter and Hayden Estis and Will Evans and wife Breanna; great-great-grandchildren, Ashley and Vincent Evans; and several nieces and nephews.
The pallbearers will be Mike Grissom, Jared Ayers, Frank Ayers, Abram Tidwell, Andy Estis and Hunter Estis.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Gentiva Home Health and Hospice for the love and care of our mother and grandmother.
