Where did January go? We’re now 1/12th through with 2020, and I don’t know about you, but I feel like I’m still trying to get back in the swing of things after the 2019 holiday season.

The first month of 2020 seems to have flown by, days filled with plenty of rain and mad scrambling to get reorganized and ready to take on another year.

The good news? We get an extra day to make things happen in February. It’s a Leap Year, so for everything you’ve wished you just had one extra day to get it all done – well, that wish has come true.

My aim this year was to be more realistic in life – to set attainable goals, write doable to-do lists and not bite off more than I can chew.

So far, no good.

Things have been helter-skelter ever since Jan. 1.

I’m counting on that extra day in February to get caught up.

Hopefully you’ve had better luck and your year is off to a spectacular start. Maybe your floors are clean, and the wind didn’t blow your gardening gloves out all over the yard. Perhaps you don’t have any credit card debt leftover from the holidays. Maybe you aren’t still filling up on Christmas candy and promising yourself you’re going to make it to the gym – tomorrow.

Kudos to you!

But for the rest of us, well, there’s still time.

The year is 1/12th over, but that means there are still 11/12ths to go.

Including that extra day in February. That’s the key.

So buckle up, buckle down and let’s make 2020 a year to remember.
