Bonner twins lead Bulldogs to wins against Addison, Ardmore

Will and Collin Bonner led the Belgreen Bulldogs to two wins over the holidays. Belgreen beat Addison 78-69 and Ardmore 61-42.

Will Bonner scored 40 points in the win over Addison, followed by his brother Collin, who dropped 20 points on the Bulldogs from Winston County.

Belgreen led Addison 17-11 at the end of the first quarter and extended that lead to 39-25 at halftime. Addison outscored Belgreen 20-18 in the third quarter, with Will Bonner scoring 16 of Belgreen’s 18 points and going eight-for-eight from the free throw line.

Scout Bragwell made three three-pointers and scored ten points. Austin James added four points. Isac Willingham and Will Donahoe scored two points each.

In the Ardmore game at Deshler, Will Bonner scored 31 points, and Collin Bonner added 18 points, to lead the Bulldogs to the win. Will Bonner went 11-for-12 from the free throw line.

Belgreen led 14-9 at the end of the first quarter and 30-22 at halftime. The Bulldogs extended their lead to 45-32 at the end of the third quarter.

Bragwell and Donahoe scored four points each. James had three points, and Willingham added one point.
