EFJHS holds annual Christmas program

East Franklin Junior High held its annual Christmas program Dec. 14 in the school gym, and it involved students from all grades as well as teachers and staff.

There were three performances, and all three were sold-out shows.

The faculty performed a special part in the program dedicated to beloved EFJH faculty member Debbie Rambo, who passed away over the summer.

“Debbie was one of the greatest influences in making sure everything was perfect for our Christmas program,” said EFJHS Principal LeAnn Trapp. “I know she would be very proud of our EFJH family this year.”

Trapp said the community always looks forward to the program. She commended the hard work and preparation by the students and teachers to make the show successful.

“The teachers spend a great deal of time after school making all the decorations and putting together their part of the program in order to help make the night memorable for all involved,” Trapp said. “This was the last show in our current gym, as preparations are underway for a new one.”

School counselor Lorie Scott said the Christmas program is always noteworthy. “We are so blessed with amazing parents, grandparents and community members that always support us, and this year was no different.”

“The teachers work so hard to put together a wonderful program for our students, and our faculty performance is always a treat,” Scott added. “It’s always worth all the hard work when you see the smiles on the children’s faces.”
