Red Bay earns bid to regionals

The Red Bay Tigers had little problem putting the Hatton Hornets away and earning a bid to the Northwest Regional Tournament later this week.

Red Bay beat Hatton 62-41 and will play Tanner Friday at 4:30 p.m. at Wallace State Community College in Hanceville.

The Tigers got off to a good start, taking a 19-13 lead over the Hornets in the first quarter. Red Bay extended that lead to 31-17 by halftime and led Hatton 46-31 at the end of the third quarter.

The Tigers dropped nine three-pointers in the game.

Holden Inmon led Red Bay with 15 points, followed by Cody Carnes with 12 points. Gage Edgmon and B.P. Blair added seven points each. Ethan McCoy finished with six points and Connor Humphries three points.
