Wayne and Dora Schultz of Little Rock announce the engagement of their daughter, Angela, to Doug Pierce, son of Grady and Kathleen Pierce of Philadelphia.
The wedding will be Saturday, Sept. 6, 2003, at 10 a.m. in Montego Bay, Jamaica.
Ms. Schultz is the granddaughter of Eris Dean of Little Rock and the late C.D. Dean, and the late Otto and Irma Schultz of Meridian.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Newton County High School and Meridian Community College. She is employed by Rush Foundation Hospital as a registered nurse.
Mr. Pierce is the grandson of Dorothy Wilkerson and the late Charlie Wilkerson, and the late G.L. and Arlie Pierce, all of Philadelphia.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Neshoba Central High School and received an associate's degree in science from East Central Community College. He earned a degree in respiratory therapy from Meridian Community College.
Mr. Pierce is employed by Rush Foundation Hospital as a respiratory therapist.
A reception will be held Sept. 13 at 4 p.m. at the couple's home.
