The board of directors of the United Way of East Mississippi hosted a Leadership Circle Reception this week at Union Station honoring leadership givers and past presidents of the United Way.
The reception also recognized those who give $500 or more annually to the United Way campaign.
The results of the Leadership Campaign will be announced at a United Way Kick-off Breakfast on Sept. 23, at 7:30 a.m., at Mississippi State UniversityMeridian Campus.
Pacesetter Companies will be recognized by Bubba Hampton, Pacesetter chairman, at the breakfast. Campaign Leadership will be announced by Tony Pompelia, 2004 campaign chairman.
The goal for the 2004 campaign is $700,000. The campaign will run Sept. 23-Nov. 28. Funding received from the campaign will be used to help fund 16 community agencies who provide services to more than 200,000 citizens in East Mississippi and West Alabama.
