Ward joins BankPlus' Meridian office

Meridian native Rob Ward has joined BankPlus as mortgage loan originator in its Meridian office.
Prior to joining BankPlus, Ward worked with SmartSynch Technologies as a financial analyst. He graduated from Millsaps College with a degree in business/finance. Ward attends St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Meridian.
BankPlus, with total assets of more than $1.15 billion, has 46 banking offices in 28 Mississippi communities.
Peavey wins multiple awards at trade show

ANAHEIM, Calif. Meridian, Miss.-based Peavey Electronics Corporation took home four awards at the Winter 2004 exposition of the National Association of Music Merchants Exposition, held here last month.
Peavey won three Music &Sound Awards, including Best New Rack Effect for the Kosmos-AE Pro, Best New Speaker/Cabinet for the PR-15 and Best New Power Amp for the CS-AE 800H. In addition, Peavey won a Dealers' Choice Award from Musical Merchandise Review magazine for outstanding product development.
Testa Publications, publisher of Music &Sound Retailer and other audio trade magazines, produces the Music &Sound Awards during the annual NAMM Expo. The Music &Sound Awards recognize outstanding technological advances, as well as musical instrument and pro sound equipment sales in the multi-billion dollar music retail industry.
Musical Merchandise Review has covered the music products industry since 1879, including new products and other industry developments. Its annual Dealers' Choice Awards are determined through feedback provided by retailers across the U.S.
