Mr. and Mrs. James Eppes of Moundville, Ala., announce the engagement of their daughter, Shatonya Latrace, to Robert Eugene Lewis, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lewis Sr. of Meridian.
The wedding will be Saturday, April 10, 2004, at 4:30 p.m. at Moundville Archeological Park.
Miss Eppes is the granddaughter of the late Rev. and Mrs. Abram Hinton Sr., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Demos Eppes of Moundville.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Greensboro East High School and attended Stillman College, where she received a bachelor's degree in elementary education.
Miss Eppes is employed by the Hale County School System.
Mr. Lewis is the grandson of R.C. Odom and the late Bonnie Odom, and the late Mr. and Mrs. James Lewis of Meridian.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Meridian High School and received a bachelor's degree in coaching and sports from the University of Southern Mississippi.
He is employed by Phifer Wire in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
A reception will be held at Moundville Archeological Park following the ceremony.
