PHILADELPHIA Services for Ruby A. Quinn will be held today at 2 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Service Chapel with the Rev. Brown Barrier officiating. Burial will be in Coy Methodist Church Cemetery in Preston.
Mrs. Quinn, 81, of Ocean Springs, died Saturday, April 10, 2004, at Ocean Springs Nursing Center.
Survivors include her daughters, Diana Guy of Lucedale, Joann Johnson of Biloxi, Lucille McNeal of Ocean Springs and Louise Case of Stonewall; a son, Billy Quinn of St. Louis; a step-daughter, Dovie Cumberland of Philadelphia; 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren and 12 step-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services for Jerry K. "Butch" Webb Jr. will be held today at 2:30 p.m. at Long Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Barham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Webb, 42, of Meridian, died Friday, April 9, 2004, in Meridian. He was a graduate of Meridian High School and had been living in Jackson for the last eight to 10 years where he worked in the steel business.
Survivors include his wife, Crystal Webb of Jackson; daughters, Jessica Webb of Birmingham, Ala. and Breanna Webb of Jackson; a son, Michael Dillon Webb of Forest; mother, Sue Burnett of Meridian; his father, Jerry K. Webb Sr. and his wife, Jeanie, of West Point; sisters, Sharon Plunkett and her husband, Ken, and Michele Swanner and her husband, Robert, all of Dallas; step-sisters, Lisa Webb Trotter and her husband, Dave, of Austin, Texas, Carla Harris and Deborah Parks, both of Jackson; paternal grandmother, Bernice Webb and maternal grandfather, Johnnie Carney, both of Meridian and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Margie Carney and his paternal grandfather, James D. Webb.
Visitation will be today noon-2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial services for Carrie Stewart Hudson will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Clarks Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Richard Parker officiating.
Mrs. Hudson, 89, of Meridian, died Tuesday, April 6, 2004, in her home.
Survivors include her daughter, Leona Stewart of Meridian; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her son.
Arrangements were incomplete at Barham Funeral Home for Betty G. Christy, 69, of Meridian, who died Sunday, April 11, 2004, at The Specialty Hospital of Meridian.
Arrangements were incomplete at Wright's Funeral Home for Marion Canterberry "Chunk" Bentley, 85, of Rose Hill, who died Sunday, April 11, 2004, in his home.
