Dinner with the doctors

By Staff
Dr. Pedro Munera, a member of Weems Community Mental Health Center's Relay for Life team, serves tea to Janean Harrison, left, Sherry Rowlett, Kristi Dearing and Brenda White at Cafe Latt in downtown Meridian. Doctors from the Weems team donated their services Thursday to raise money for this year's Relay for Life to benefit the American Cancer Society. Doctors donated their tips, and Cafe Latt donated 10 percent of the evening's sales. This year's Relay for Life begins June 11, at 7 p.m., at Meridian High School's Ray Stadium. The all-night walk-a-thon ends June 12 at 6 a.m.
