Thanks and congratulations to county's best

By Staff
Inside today's edition of the Franklin County Times you will find a special supplement recognizing the best that Franklin County has to offer.
In all, nearly 1000 votes were counted to arrive at the 36 winners. Three categories had ties for first place, and without a fair way to break the tie, awards were bestowed to each front-runner.
The awards bestowed upon these businesses are truly one of the highest honors they could get because they were voted on by their customers.
All we did was publish the ballot. It was up to the businesses to rally their customer support enough to vote them as the best.
Many of the races were very heated and close.
In more than one category, winners were determined by one or two votes.
When you consider that more than 900 votes were cast, you can see how contested these bragging rights were.
The Franklin County Times Readers Choice is an annual event that we hope more and more readers and businesses can have fun with as the calendar pages continue to turn.
It's all in good fun with a little hope to honor those who have made an impact on the lives of their customers.
We appreciate the readers of the Times and Classifieds+ for their votes.
Our congratulations to all the winners. We hope you will offer your congratulations as you frequent their business.
