Senior guard Cory Trapp set a school record Saturday night with 12 3-pointers as Russellville rolled past Sheffield 85-44.
The Golden Tigers built a 25-point first quarter lead and led 51-19 at halftime to improve to 3-0 this season.
Trapp finished with 38 points, while Jermaine Bates had 15 points and Terrence Smith added 12 for Russellville.
Siran Winston (9), Micah McCulloch (3), Jordan Hammond (5) and Tucker Hammock (3) also scored for Russellville.
xx Gregory had a team-high xx points for Sheffield.

HALEYVILLE – Siran Winston scored a season-high 21 points as the Russellville varsity boys beat Haleyville 75-54 Friday night.
Jermaine Bates had 19 points, and Terrence Smith added 16 for the Golden Tigers.
Micah McCulloch (8), Cory Trapp (7) and Tucker Hammock (4) also scored for Russellville.
Patrick Brown led Haleyville with 20 points.

The Russellville varsity girls lost a closely contested game to Haleyville 43-39.
Janarie Donley paced the Lady Golden Tigers with 12 points, and Tasha West had 11.
Erin Reynolds (5), Ayanna McCullough (4), Victoria Taylor (3), Taylor Smith (2) and Felicia Collins (2) also scored for the Lady Golden Tigers.
Erin Taylor had a team-high 11 for Haleyville.
