Eagles in tie for eighth at NJCAA tournament

Meridian Community College is in a tie for eighth place after three rounds in the NJCAA Division II Men's Golf Championship in Bryan, Texas.
The Eagles have a 904 three-day score after shooting a 304 on Thursday.
Temple (Texas) College leads the tournament at 857 following Thursday's 290.
Tyler (Texas) College was in second place at 874. Nineteen teams are in the tournament.
Dan Luke shot a 72 at Pebble Creek Thursday and leads the MCC contingent with a three-day score of 221.
Jamie Sullivan's 78 put him at 227. Cameron Hunt shot a 76 and is at 232 for the tournament. Brandon Laird shot an 80 Thursday and is at 229. Morgan Stewart's 78 left him at 231.
Play concludes at Pebble Creek today.
Dan Luke has been playing well. I hope we can put four good rounds together and end it on a good note."
The last time MCC took a team to the nationals, the Eagles finished in seventh place in 1999.
