Mr. and Mrs. Wayne A. Tidwell of Chelsea, Ala., announce the engagement of their daughter, Leslie Michelle, to Jonathan Manning Wells, son of Mr. and Mrs. Larry H. Wells of Glencoe, Ala.
The wedding will be held Saturday, Nov. 10, 2001, at 1 p.m. at Reid Chapel on the campus of Samford University, Birmingham, Ala.
Miss Tidwell is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. L.C. Abrams of Chelsea and Mrs. E.W. Tidwell of Jackson.
The bride-elect, a graduate of Northeast Lauderdale High School, attends Samford University's McWhorter School of Pharmacy. She is scheduled to graduate in May 2002 with a doctorate degree.
At Samford, she is a member of the Baptist Student Union Choir, Christian Pharmacy Fellowship and Rho Chi.
The bridegroom-elect, a graduate of Glencoe High School, received a bachelor of science degree in business at Jackson State University. He currently attends Samford University's McWhorter School of Pharmacy and is scheduled to graduate in May 2002.
Mr. Wells is employed by CVS Pharmacy.
A reception will be held at Vestavia Lodge following the ceremony. Family and friends are invited to attend.
