Graveside services for Makayla Jean Runnels were held Saturday at Holy Rosary Cemetery in Philadelphia with the Rev. David Hamm officiating. Barham Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Makayla Jean Runnels, infant, died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include parents, Michael and Mary Runnels of Preston; a brother, Craig Runnels of Preston; parental grandfather, John Runnels of Nebraska; parental grandmother, Gladys Hernandez of Philadelphia; maternal grandparents, Joe and Shirley Coleman of Shuqualak; an uncle, Joseph Coleman of Shuqualak; three aunts, Sheila Sanford and her husband, Toby of Ackerman, Jennifer Jim of Philadelphia and Crystal Bell and her husband, Jason, of Philadelphia; and several cousins.

PHILADELPHIA Services for John L. Duran will be held today at 2 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Spring Creek Cemetery in Neshoba County.
Mr. Duran, 72, of Philadelphia, died Friday, Nov. 9, 2001, at Riley Hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Joanne Duran of Philadelphia; two daughters, Patricia Ann Ryan and Suzanne Bassett, both of Philadelphia; three sons, John Dewayne Duran of Pascagoula and Timothy Gibson and Christopher Duran, both of Philadelphia; 14 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Lanie Long of Noxapater, Bobbie Wood of Philadelphia and Dorothy Avant of Fort Hancock, Texas.
