Wayne, NCHS host games

Three area football teams are still alive in the MHSAA and MPSA state football playoffs, while two of those squads will be the host teams this week.
The Jaguars of Wayne Academy, who took a convincing 32-6 win over West Memphis Christian over the weekend, play host to Desoto (Ark.) School Friday in the MPSA A semifinals.
Newton County High School, which has already won two playoff games this season, plays host to Collins in the South State semifinals of MHSAA Class 3A play.
The Cougars defeated West Lauderdale 40-10 last week to set up this week's game.
The other area team still alive is Louisville High School. The Wildcats travel
