Breakfast held for top education leaders

JACKSON The state Institutions of Higher Learning Inter-Alumni Council recently hosted a breakfast for top education leaders in the Mississippi Legislature including one from Meridian.
State Rep. Charles Young, D-Meridian, and chairman of the House Universities and Colleges Committee, joined state Reps. Esther Harrison, D-Columbus, and Percy Maples, D-Lucedale, at the breakfast.
The IHL Inter-Alumni Council is composed of alumni from Mississippi's eight public universities. The group supports the needs of higher education.
