Conference finals are good matches
I don’t watch a lot of NBA games, but I usually take in some playoff games each season. This year’s semifinals feature four teams that have every right to be where they are: the San Antonio Spurs and Oklahoma City Thunder in the Western Conference finals and the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference finals.
These are without a doubt, at least if you ask me, the best four teams in the NBA this season. And don’t give me any lip about the Los Angeles Lakers, because I have never liked them, especially Kobe Bryant.
He has never even been the best overall player in the league any year that he has played, again in my opinion. He was overshadowed by Michael Jordan back in the day and now by Lebron James.
I also don’t want to hear anything negative about Lebron. I don’t really like him, but I don’t hate him like a lot of people. Yeah he put together some ridiculous hour-long special, “The Decision,” to announce that he was taking his talents to South Beach, but after ESPN approached him about the possibility of making the show. Then the proceeds of the show went to charity, so what’s the problem America?
I will only be happy if the Heat and Thunder play each other in the championship. That would be one epic series of professional basketball games.
Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant versus Lebron James and Dwayne Wade? Yes please.
That said, Tim Duncan and Kevin Garnett may have something to say about that matchup.
