TOUR OF HOMES THIS WEEKEND This year's Tour of Homes, sponsored by the Meridian Restoration Foundation, will include Betsy Rawson's home, pictured above, and four others in Meridian. The homes will be available for tours Saturday from 1 p.m.-5 p.m. Tickets are $15 and are available at Saxon's Flowers and Gifts, Reflections of the Modern Garden, Merrehope or at the door of any home on the tour: 1) Hoot and Doris Gipson, 7591 Lake Cove Drive; 2) Rusty and Jamie Frye, 413 46th Court; 3) Charles and Glaniece Roberts, 7590 Cove Drive; and 4) Leo and Betsy Rawson, 8340 Eagle Pointe Drive. Proceeds benefit the Meridian Restoration Foundation, which is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of Merrehope and the F.W. Williams Home. The group needs to raise $30,000 as its part of a match from The Riley Foundation. Other upcoming fund-raising events include a Victorian tea, a rummage sale and a fall fashion show.
