KIMBERLEE JOANNA JOHNSTONE, JOHN SPRATT BACOT JR.

Kenny and Ruby Scarbrough of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Kimberlee Joanna Johnstone, to John Spratt Bacot Jr., both of Lexington, S.C. Bacot is the son of Dr. and Mrs. John S. Bacot Sr. of Beulaville, N.C.
The wedding will be held Saturday, Nov. 18, 2000, at 6 p.m. in Cancun, Mexico.
Miss Johnstone is the granddaughter of Edith M. Johnstone and the late Albert F. "Bud" Johnstone, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas L. Moore of West Point.
The bride-elect is a graduate of West Point High School and earned her bachelor's degree in education from Columbia College. She is employed as a teacher at Francis Mack Elementary School and is pursuing a master's degree at Columbia College.
Mr. Bacot is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Bacot and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Small, all of Columbia, S.C.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of West Point High School and the United States Military Academy at West Point. He is vice president and general manager of Checker Yellow Cab Company Inc. of Columbia.
A reception honoring the couple will be held in West Point on Saturday, Dec. 16.
