QUITMAN Graveside services for James Robert Loper were held Monday at 11 a.m. at Zion Rest Cemetery, with the Rev. George Purvis officiating. Wright's Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Loper, 76, of Heidelberg, died Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2000, in Heidelberg. He was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include two brothers, William J. Loper and Malcolm E. Loper, both of Heidelberg; and a sister, Tommie E. Ulmer of Sandersville.

Services for W.V. McLemore Jr. will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Jason Gross officiating. Burial will be in Sageville Cemetery.
Mr. McLemore, 72, of Meridian, died Sunday, Nov. 19, 2000, at Rush Foundation Hospital. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force achieving the rank of lieutenant, a Mason and Shriner. He developed his own strain of orchid which was named after him. Mr. McLemore was a resident of Meridian for the past five years and a resident of New Orleans for 45 years. He graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi and taught horticulture at Tulane University.
Survivors include family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bertha McLemore; and his parents, Waldo and Etta McLemore.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

QUITMAN Graveside services for Ella Dew Denham were to be held today at 10 a.m. at Cedar Creek Cemetery, with the Rev. Lester Griffin officiating. Wright's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Denham, 84, of Quitman, died Sunday, Nov. 19, 2000, at H.C. Watkins Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include four sons, W.P. "Buck" Jordan and Ted Bishop, both of Quitman, Jim Jordan of Sacramento, Calif., and Gene Bishop of Norfolk, Va.; two daughters, Sally Williamson and Barbara Allen, both of Quitman; a brother, W.A. Dew, and two sister, Verna Mae Wright and Sue Glass, all of Quitman; 14 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jeff Denham.
HELEN WILLIAMS LEWIS

NEWTON Services for Helen Williams Lewis were to be held today at 10 a.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel, with the Revs. Dr. Tommy Davis and Jerry Beam officiating. Burial was to be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Lewis, 84, of Rose Hill, died Sunday, Nov. 19, 2000, at Neshoba County Hospital. She was employed as the cafeteria manager for more than 30 years with Jasper County Schools.
Survivors include a daughter, Kathy Posey and her husband, Al, of Philadelphia; a sister, Ruby Bosch of Atlanta; a brother, Herbert Williams of Hickory; four grandchildren, Ken Evans, Christopher Evans, Chris Posey and Austin Posey, all of Philadelphia.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marion and Emma Richardson Williams; her husband, Woodrow W. Lewis; her children, Lela Marion, Eugene W. Lewis and Jerry L. Lewis.
Pallbearers will be Ken Evans, Austin Posey, Dan Williams, Joe Williams, Jack Miller and Jimmy Keenan.
Honorary pallbearers will be Christopher Evans and Chris Posey.
DOYLE D. DAVIDSON

SEBASTOPOL Services for Doyle D. Davidson will be held today at 11 a.m. at High Hill Baptist Church, with the Revs. Ray Files and Randy Culpepper officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Milling Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Davidson, 86, of Sebastopol, died Sunday, Nov. 19, 2000, at St. Dominic's Hospital.
Survivors include five daughters, Betsy Ann Barnett of Philadelphia, Jeanene Maxwell of Jackson, Linda Holcomb of Sebastopol, Regina Douglas of Florence and Kathy McElven of Cordova, Tenn.; two sons, Bob Davidson of Laurel and Billy Paul Davidson of Sebastopol; three sisters, Betty Upton, Paula Davidson and Naomi Bill Davidson, all of Walnut Grove; 18 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Mitchell Davidson.
