DOXIE ST. CLAIR
PHILADELPHIA Services for Doxie St. Clair will be held today at 2 p.m. at John E. Stephens Chapel Funeral Service with the Rev. John Stephens officiating. Burial will be in Morrow Cemetery.
Mrs. St. Clair, 77, died Friday, Feb. 2, 2001, at Beverly Health Care Easom in Tupelo.
Survivors include two daughters, Nina Little of Nettleton and Nancy McBrayer of Guntown; a sister, Lauraine Tew of Union; a brother, Willard Watkins of Collinsville; nine grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
DELLA BEE TATE
Services for Della Bee Tate will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Bethany Baptist Church with the Rev. Danny Balint officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Barham Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Tate, 73, of Meridian, died Saturday, Feb. 3, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Sharon Tate Gallagher and her husband, Dr. Douglas Gallagher of Freemont, La.; two granddaughters, Kelly Gallagher and Caitlin Gallagher; two sisters, Delores Reynolds and her husband, James, of Whynot, and Rebecca Hankins and her husband, Louis, of Livingston, Ala.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Tate.
Visitation will be today from 4-6 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family requests memorials be made to the Bethany Cemetery Fund or the American Heart Association.
Pallbearers include Randy Farris, Garland Partridge, Kelva McRae, William McRae, Robert Allen Reynolds and Frankie Polizzi. Honorary pallbearers include Bennie Ford, Johnnie Mac Booker and Gary Newell.
LULA MAE RIVERS SAUNDERS
Graveside services for Lula Mae Rivers Saunders will be held Monday at 2:30 p.m. at Magnolia Cemetery with the Rev. Carless Evans Jr. officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Saunders, 81, of Okolona, died Saturday, Feb. 3, 2001, in Okolona. She was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church of Meridian. She was born June 22, 1919 and married on July 21, 1934.
Survivors include two daughters, Sandra Sibley of Diamondhead and Jane Faye Morgan of Orange Park, Fla.; a brother, Robert Blanks Rivers of Meridian; and five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Andrew Rivers; her mother, Clara Culpepper; her husband, James "Jumbo" Pittman Saunders; and a grandson, Thomas Lamar Morgan Jr.
The family requests memorials be made to First Baptist Church of Meridian or the church or charity of choice.
Visitation will be Monday from noon until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
