OBITUARIES FOR TUESDAY, FEB. 6, 2001

LUTHER B. WILLIAMS
QUITMAN Services for Luther B. Williams will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church with the Revs. Lester Griffin and Gary McInnis officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Wright's Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Williams, 52, of Pachuta, died Saturday, Feb. 3, 2001, in his home.
Survivors include a brother, Tommy Williams and his wife, Ellie, of Rutherford College, N.C.; three sisters, Annie Boykin of Pachuta, Polly Parker and her husband Tommy Gene, of Quitman and Rosie Russell and her husband, Larry, of Laurel; two nephews, Gene Parker of Enterprise and Brenan Williams of Rutherford College; four nieces, Laura Hurst of Montgomery, Ala., Anner Johnson of Pineville, Mo., Monica Williams of Rutherford College and Jennifer Russell of Laurel; a great-niece, Mandy Johnson of Pineville; an uncle, Cecil McGrew of Quitman, three aunts, Inez Williams, Velma McGrew, Catherine Robinson; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Anner Mae Williams.
Visitation will be today from 5-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Graveside services for Elvie L. "Little Bit" Henderson will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Barham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Henderson, 84, of Meridian, died Monday, Feb. 5, 2001, in Meridian.
Visitation will be Thursday from 1:30-2:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Arrangements were incomplete at Enterprise Funeral Home for Gertrude Payne, 85, of Meridian, who died Saturday, Feb. 3, 2001, at Riley Hospital.

Arrangements were incomplete at Berry and Gardner Funeral Home for Everlena Ivy, 70, of Meridian, who died Monday, Feb. 5, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.

Arrangements were incomplete at Barham Funeral Home for Edith L. Culpepper, 79, of Meridian, who died Monday, Feb. 5, 2001, in her home.
NELLIE S. SINCLAIR
QUITMAN Arrangements were incomplete at Wright's Funeral Home for Nellie S. Sinclair, 86, of Vossburg, who died Monday, Feb. 5, 2001, at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel.
