50th anniversary
MR. AND MRS. AMBROSE EARL MILLER
Ambrose Earl Miller and Mary Etta Joyner will
celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2001, 2:30 to 4 p.m., at Druid Hills United Methodist Church. The event will be hosted by their children Sheila Ledford of Lake Wales, Fla., Sherry Botelho of Jefferson, Ga., Mary Jean Pierce of Petal and David Miller of Meridian. The couple were married Feb. 9, 1951, in Meridian. Mr. Miller retired after 36 years with the Mississippi Air National Guard. Mrs. Miller teaches cake decorating for Meridian Parks and Recreation. The Millers have nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to attend the reception.

MR. AND MRS. PAUL RIGDON
Paul and Joyce Rigdon celebrated their 50th
wedding anniversary with a reception on Saturday, Jan. 13, 2001, at Dalewood Recreation Center. The reception was hosted by Rick and Billie Guyner and their children and Carol Estes. The couple were married Jan. 26, 1951. The couple have three children: Paul and Mary Rigdon, Frank and Linda Harper and Ricky and Billie Guyner; 15
grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. Mrs. Rigdon is the former Joyce Fleming.

MR. AND MRS. TED RIGDON
Ted and Ruthie Rigdon celebrated their 50th anniversary with a trip to Gulf Shores. The couple were married Aug. 19, 1950. Mrs. Rigdon is the former Ruthie Graham. The couple have two children, Danny and Judy Rigdon and Glynese Ward; four grandchildren and three great
grandchildren.
