BOSSIER CITY, La. The Meridian Community College Lady Eagles bolstered their position in the Region 23 standings with a road split against the Bossier Parish Community College Lady Cavaliers Saturday.

Adcox saw her record drop to 22-3 on the season.
It was a loss that didn't sit too well with MCC head coach Robert Eakins.

LaKenya Wilson added a double. Crystal Mack and Candace Manuel led the hitting attack in both games.
In the case of a split next week, the two teams will play a one-game playoff for the Region 23 crown.
Gm. 1, MCC 10, Bossier Parish 0: In the opening game, the Lady Eagles crushed its hosts behind a dominant performance on the hill from Adcox.
