40th anniversary
Robert and Edna Diamond of Quitman celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary Saturday, May 19, 2001, with their family. The couple has three children, Jimmy Diamond, Sandra Diamond Boykin and Kathy Diamond Thrash; and seven grandchildren.
50th anniversary
Dr. and Mrs. James C. Graham will celebrate their 50th anniversary on Sunday, May 27, 2001 from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. at Michael's River Walk Garden located on County Road 320, Enterprise. They were married March 31, 1951, at the Methodist church in Hunt, Texas. The event will be hosted by their children, Keith, Jeff and Warren Graham and Annette Kotynia. Family and friends are invited to attend. The couple requests no gifts.
50th anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Everette Keller recently celebrated their 50th anniversary. They were married May 9, 1951, in Quitman. Mr. Keller is retired from the sheriff's department, where he served as sheriff for 12 years. Mrs. Keller is a patient representative at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. The couple have two daughters, Celia Graydon and her husband, Ricky, of Quitman and Fayne Walker and her husband, Larry, of Baton Rouge, La.; and four grandchildren, Francie and Kris Hayes of Meridian and Thomas and Jayne Walker of Baton Rouge. A reception was held May 13, 2001, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ricky Graydon.
