Stanley and Dianne Holloman of Quitman announce the engagement of their daughter, Kyla Marie, to William Brock Clay, son of Bill Clay of DeKalb and Brenda Brewer of Bailey.
The wedding will be held Saturday, July 14, 2001, at 4 p.m. at Cooper's Chapel United Methodist Church in Quitman.
Miss Holloman is the granddaughter of Cleo and Sybil Williams of Quitman, the late Nell Thead Williams and the late O. H. and Sarah Holloman.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Quitman High School and received an associate of arts degree from Jones County Junior College. She received a bachelor of science degree in elementary education from Mississippi State University.
Miss Holloman is employed by the Meridian Public School District.
Mr. Clay is the grandson of J. W. and Virginia Bounds and Sadie Clay, all of DeKalb, and the late B.H. Clay.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of West Lauderdale High School. He received an associate of arts degree from East Mississippi Community College and a bachelor of science degree in secondary education from Mississippi State University.
Mr. Clay is employed by the Meridian Public School District.
A reception will be held in the church fellowship hall following the ceremony. Family and friends are invited to attend.
