Mr. and Mrs. John Cash Roberts Jr. of Wichita, Kan., announce the engagement of their daughter, Dolhia Lynn, to Benjamin Richard Patterson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas V. Mathis of Meridian and the late Richard Simms Patterson.
The wedding will be held Friday, July 20, 2001, at 6:30 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Colwich, Kan.
Miss Roberts is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Cash Roberts Sr., Frank M. Cadigan and the late Audrey Cadigan, all of Louisiana, Mo.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Bishop Carroll High School and received a bachelor's degree in occupational therapy from Newman University.
Miss Roberts is employed by Wesley Rehabilitation Hospital in Wichita.
Mr. Patterson is the grandson of Sam D. Payne and the late Beatrice Payne, Betty Patterson and the late C.R. Patterson, all of Meridian.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Clarkdale High School and received a bachelor's degree in occupational therapy from the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
Mr. Patterson is employed by Sedgwick Healthcare Center in Sedgwick, Kan.
A reception will be held at St. Francis of Assissi Catholic Church following the ceremony. Family and friends are invited to attend.
