Rebecca Lee Wall and Donald Ray Blevins Jr. were married Saturday, Sept. 29, 2001, at Poplar Springs Drive United Methodist Church. The Rev. Richard Robbins officiated at the ceremony.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Julian H. Wall of Meridian and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Ray Blevins Sr. of Charleston, S.C.
Grandparents of the bride are Quinnie Guarino and Ileta Wakefield, both of Meridian.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Leesa Wilkinson, pianist.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a A-line gown of white satin featuring spaghetti straps which criss-crossed in the back. The bodice was adorned with seed pearls and iridescent sequins. She carried a bouquet of white alstromeria, white lilies and bells of Ireland.
Pam Wall of Meridian attended her sister of maid of honor. Misbah Badat of Meridian was bridesmaid and Madison Wall of Meridian, daughter of the bride, was the flower girl.
Rory Fosberry of Charleston served as best man. Groomsmen were Tim Rowland and Skip Butler, both of Charleston. Andy Robinson of Meridian was the usher.
Guest book attendant was Allyson Hiers of Charleston, niece of the bridegroom. Rice bag girls were Sara Hunter of Orangeburg, S.C., niece of the bridegroom, and Ginger Ballew of Meridian.
A reception was held at Briarwood Country Club following the ceremony. Servers were Karen Auton Robinson, Amy Boles Williams and Tracie May Patrick.
The couple honeymooned in Helen, Ga.
