Amanda Robinson of Meridian and Nicholas Herrington of Pearl were married Saturday, Aug. 11, 2001, at Skyway Hills Baptist Church with the Rev. Billy Huffmaster officiating.
Parents of the couple are Rita Robinson of Meridian, E.B. Robinson of Slidell, La., Rita and Larry Herrington of Pearl.
Grandparents of the bride are Sybil Nix and the late Deavours Nix; Jerry Wiley and the late Kathleen Wiley.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Calvin and Francis Canniff, and J.C. and Marie Herrington.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Jean Huffmaster, organist; Pam Lott, pianist; and Brooks Little, soloist.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a white satin gown with an A-line design. The V-shaped neckline was trimmed in pearls and sequins.
Matron of honor was Erin Byers of Meridian. Other attendants were Janice Howard of Jackson, Lea Ann Channell of Brandon and Tiffany Sherman of Clinton. Lauren Holley of Columbus was flower girl.
Bart Herrington of Little Rock, Ark., served as best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Toby Channell of Brandon, Clay Channell of Pearl, Al Duckworth of Pearl, Ashley Robinson of Hattiesburg and Garrett Robinson of Meridian. Ring bearer was Joel Odom of Pearl.
Rice bag attendant was Nikki Graham and program attendant was Kortney Binz.
A reception was held at the church following the ceremony. Assisting were Patricia Hatten, Sandra Boldin, Elizabeth Boldin, Kortney Binz, Katie Anderson, Judy Graham, Nikki Graham, Pam Lott, Guy Holley and Mary Cannon.
After a honeymoon in Williamsburg, Va., the couple resides in Brandon.
