Officers with the East Mississippi Drug Task Force arrested a Meridian woman Tuesday night on drug charges.
Lauderdale County Sheriff Billy Sollie said Danita Robert, 27, 3520 11th St., was charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.
Robert was released on $10,000 bond. If convicted, state law says that Robert could face up to 30 years in prison and a $5,000 to $1 million fine.
Sollie said the East Mississippi Drug Task Force used a search warrant to enter a house at 1100 36th Ave. at about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. He said officers seized more than 3 ounces of crack cocaine.
