Mr. Walters, 74, of Bailey, died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Navy where he received the WW II Victory Medal and the Korean Service Medal.

Survivors include his wife, Lucille Roberts Walters of Bailey; sons, Thomas Austin Walters and Jeffrey Lloyd Walters, both of Meridian, David Michael Walters of Bailey and Raymond Lewis Walters of Lexington, Okla.; daughters, Susan Elizabeth James of Meridian and Nancy Lynn Thompson of Philadelphia; sisters, Willie Pierce of Gulfport, Ruth Sharp of Collinsville, Sue Smith of Philadelphia and Jimmie Harris of Smithville, Tenn.; brothers, Jack Walters and Bobby Walters of Philadelphia; grandchildren, Keyla Black, Brooke James Gibson, Jamie Walters, Tony James, Jeremy Walters, David A. Walters, Shawn Schoppert, Christopher Walters, Ashley Walters, Tiffany Walters, Molly Walters and Caitlin Boykin; and one great-grandchild, Heather Walters.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John T. Walters and Velma Pilgrim Walters; two sisters, Mary Young and Frances Perry.
Pallbearers will be Jamie Walters, Tony James, Jeremy Walters, David Walters, Shawn Schoppert, Christopher Walters, Ben Black and Chad Gibson.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

ANGLETON, Texas Services for Gladys Manning Smith will be held Friday at 3 p.m. at Angleton Funeral Home. Burial will be in Damon Cemetery.
Mrs. Smith, 87, of Picayune, died Monday, Dec. 31, 2001, in her home.
Survivors include three daughters, Gwyn Johnson of Picayune, Trisha Miller of Delhi, Calif., and Cheryl Smith of Lauderdale; a sister, Leila Vann of Angleton, Texas; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Garland Woodrow Smith.
Visitation will be Friday beginning at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services for Wilburn E. Dunnigan will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ in Meridian with the Rev. Allen Shortridge officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Church Cemetery in Daleville with E.E. McDonald Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Dunnigan, 36, of Meridian, died Sunday, Dec. 30, 2001, in his home.
Survivors include a daughter, Alicia Dunnigan of Quitman; five sisters, Rosie, Lizzie and Freda Dunnigan, Annie Moton and her husband, Eddie, and Alene Chaney and her husband, Larry, all of Meridian; brothers, Frankie Dunnigan and his wife, Diana, Willie James Dunnigan and his wife, Ada, of Meridian; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death his parents and a sister.
Visitation will be Friday 6 p.m.-7 p.m. at the E.E. McDonald Community Chapel in Meridian.

Mr. Hudson, 82, of Meridian, died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2002, at Riley Hospital.

Mr. Collins, 77, of Quitman, died Monday, Dec. 31, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include his wife, Earline Collins of Enterprise; two daughters, Charlotte Robinson of Quitman and Diana Berry of Enterprise; two brothers, Michael McGee and Lewis McGee Jr. and a sister, Magnolia McGee, all of Chicago; 11 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be Saturday one hour prior to the service at the church.

Mrs. Coleman, 53, of Toomsuba, died Saturday, Dec. 29, 2001, at Riley Hospital.
Survivors include a daughter, Angela Coleman of Meridian; a son, Edward Coleman of Birmingham, Ala.; and a brother, Joe Clay of Meridian.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be Friday 5:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
