Former University of Alabama forward Marcus Campbell is still working toward his goal of playing in the NBA.
Campbell, who prepped at Livingston (Ala.) High School and still maintains a home in the community he was raised in just outside of Livingston, was a member of three Tide men's basketball teams that advanced to the NCAA "Sweet 16" under former head coach Wimp Sanderson.
Campbell said his best moment with the Tide came against Shaquille O'Neal when he was playing at LSU.
Alabama, however, was no slouch either.
They were one of the best teams in the SEC when Campbell played there.
These days, Campbell is still playing basketball.
His career, however, has taken a slight detour recently.
