Memorial services for Daniel E. Lewis will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tom Wood officiating.
Mr. Lewis, 78, of Meridian, died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2002, in his home. He was a retired lieutenant commander and pilot in the U.S. Navy. He served 27 years. Mr. Lewis was a member of St. Johns Lodge, a 33rd Degree Scottish Rite Mason and York Rite Mason.
Survivors include his wife, Sunny Alice E. Lewis of Meridian; two daughters, Charlotte Elliott of Jacksonville, Fla., and Jane Lodge Hopkins of San Francisco; and a grandchild, Luther H. Elliott IV of Jacksonville.
The family requests memorials be made to a favorite charity.
Services for Joe Pollard will be held Saturday at noon at Latimer Metropolitan Funeral Home with the Rev. William Jefferson officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hebron Cemetery.
Mr. Pollard, 52, of Meridian, died Monday, Jan. 14, 2002, at Riley Hospital.
Survivors include his mother, Willie Ann Pollard of Meridian; his wife, Laura Sturdivant Pollard of Pensacola, Fla.; four daughters, Corliss Pollard of Lawrenceville, Ga., Lashundra Pollard of Pensacola, Crystal Hill and Kizzie Hill of Lauderdale; two sons, Tommy Wayne Dunnigan of Pensacola and Joe Pollard Jr. of Memphis, Tenn.; sisters, Willie Rae Donald of Winterhaven, Fla., Bettye McConnell of Meridian and Bobbie Jean Pollard of Winterhaven; brothers, Thomas Calvin of Detroit, Robert Pollard and Charles Pollard of Meridian, Ervin Pollard of Porterville and Johnny Pollard of Crisfield, Md.; and 13 grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday 2 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services for Mattie A. Wedgeworth will be held Friday at 11:30 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel.
Mrs. Wedgeworth, 82, of Meridian, died Monday, Jan. 14, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Visitation will be Friday beginning at 9 a.m. at the funeral home.
GLADYS O. BOYETTE
Services for Gladys O. Boyette will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at NorthPark Church. Barham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Boyette, 82, of Meridian died Monday, Jan. 14, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Visitation will be Friday one hour prior to the service at the church.

DEKALB Services for Ezelle Walker Jr. will held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Greenhill Baptist Church in Toomsuba with the Revs. B.L. Richardson and Lawrence Hill officiating. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery in Toomsuba with E.E. McDonald Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Walker, 37, of Meridian, died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2002, in Meridian.
Survivors include his father, Ezelle Walker Sr., his mother, Mary Alice Walker, five sisters, Eliza Walker, Alice Walker, Diana Walker, Rosie W. Ruffin and her husband, Willie, and Viola Moore, three brothers, Eligah, James and Jimmy Walker, all of Meridian, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday 1 p.m.-7 p.m. at E.E. McDonald Community Chapel in Meridian.
