Services for Alma Pat Bartlett will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Barham Chapel with the Rev. James Dollar officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Barham Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Bartlett, 85, of Doniphan, Mo., died Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2002, at Ripley Co. Memorial Hospital. She was a retired nurse at Mattey Hursey for many years.
She was a former resident of Meridian before moving to Doniphan, Mo.
Survivors include daughters, Roberta Jenkins of Livingston, Ala. and Rebecca Mayhugh and husband Dennis of Doniphan, Mo.; 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, James W. Reid and daughter, Mary Idelia Reid.
The family requests that memorials be made to the charity of your choice.
Visitation will be today from 5p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
VIOLA ARCEOLIA JACKSON
Services for Viola Arceolia Jackson will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with the Rev. Leon Tingle officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Latimer Metropolitan Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Jackson, 80, of Chicago, Ill., died Saturday, Feb. 9, 2002, in Chicago.
Survivors include two sisters, Annie L. Hodges and Mary L. Jackson, both of Meridian; and a brother, Louis Smith Jr. of Meridian.
Visitation will be today from 3p.m.-6 p.m. at the funeral home.
Private graveside services for infant Miller White will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Collinsville Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Mark Farris officiating. Stephens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Infant White, 3 months, of Taylorsville, died Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2002, at UAB Hospital.
Survivors include parents, Shannon Claude White and Tammy Miller White of Taylorsville; sister, Presley Morgan White of Taylorsville; paternal grandparents, Bonnie and David White of Vicksburg; maternal grandmother, Gloria Miller of Meridian; great-grandmothers, Neadra Lockwood and Eleze Walker, both of Collinsville.
The family requests in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to the Ronald McDonald House, 920 17th Street, South Birmingham, AL 35205.
Services for Della Easley will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church with the Rev. Greg Baylor officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery. Berry and Gardner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Easley, 82, of Meridian, died Saturday, Feb. 9, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include her husband, William Easley of Meridian; daughters, Willie Mae Aikens and her husband, Lonzell, Dorothy Baskin and her husband, Robert, Irnell Henderson and her husband, James, all of Meridian; sons, Billie Malone and his wife, Bobbie, Willie Malone and his wife, Lorine, Jearl Malone and his wife, Johnnie, Arthur Easley and his wife, Betty, all of Meridian; John Malone and his wife, Clara, of Rascine, Wis., Joseph Easley and his wife, Mary, of Yantley, Ala., and Frank Malone and his wife, Elizabeth, of Houston, Texas; a brother, Graffie Carlisle and his wife, Jessie, of Meridian; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by daughter, Callie Wilson and a son, Johnny Easley.
Visitation will be today 7 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
